When you deposit a week into the RCI Weeks program, your get Trading Power Units, which you’ll see people call TPUs. Access to the full advertised discount may require an upgraded membership tier or the use of RCI Trading Power. As an RCI Points member, you do not have a specific home week, but you do receive an annual allotment of Points. If you would like to return to your home resort, simply book on RCI.com or call a Vacation Guide 13 months or less from your preferred check-in date.

If you don’t own a timeshare yet, get started by browsing our timeshares for sale, or check one out on the timeshare rental market. So there are a lot of benefits that RCI lists on their website outside of vacation exchange. However, RCI is a business, and they are trying to upsell their 3.8 million members on other travel products by offering discounts on travel-related services like rental cars, cruises, etc. Resort Choices – There are “reports” in the owner’s groups that a small handful of resorts only seem to be available for points owners to trade into. As weeks owners, I don’t feel deprived and haven’t been bummed out by the resorts available to me in my RCI Membership.

See, this is something that you used to be able to do with your deposited weeks.
